Topsoil is a mixture of sand and dirt. Triple mix is sand, dirt, and compost.

Under Ontario Pesticide bans, we can do no more to control weed seed populations than you. Even “so-called” weed-free soil is treated with toxic chemicals and is not immune to air-born weed seeds.

Triple mix. It’s a mixture of sand, topsoil, and compost, which results in a nutrient-dense product.

Bulk materials require separate shipments. We do not have dividers. This results in 2 delivery charges.

Yes. Both our yard and office are open to the public.

HPB is a preferred product as it packs nicely and doesn’t require tamping. However, any gravel product could work. We don’t recommend any product that contains limestone screenings.

5/8” white is the most popular stone. It is mixed with limestone screenings and creates a solid base.

No, delivery charges are extra and contingent upon where you live.

One cubic yard is 27 cubic feet, or approximately 8-10 wheel barrels full. Refer to our Cubic Yard Calculator for accurate quantities. You can always use our cubic yard calculator.

We endeavor to deliver the same day, but in busy times, we prefer to have one day’s notice.

We deliver from Owen Sound to Flesherton in the west and all areas in between. To the east, we deliver to Collingwood. To the south, Feversham and Maxwell. (caveat: daily deliveries to locations far may not be available during our busy season, and may require a minimum quantity)
